What would be my possible consequences for this specific ticket?

I am a minor, 17, and was caught speeding 120 on a freeway with a 65 speed limit, and with a passenger (violation of provisional license). And I've had my license for about 7 months. I know the fines and all, but what can happen with my license? I heard of someone who was going 100 on a 65 commercial street with no passenger and got his license revoked till 21 years of age...he was 16 and had his license for 2 weeks with no passenger. What can happen?

120? And you weren't arrested? This can't be real. You would have been arrestd on the spot.

If this is real, you're definitely going to lose your license until you're 21, without question. And that's good for the rest of us on the road. It makes it safer for all of us.

You should be sent to Austrailia and let off to walk home... if you ever make it! What in the hell would make you go that fast on ANY road? The Bonneville Salt Flats or White Sands are the only places for that ignorance. Even then; you'd HAVE to be slow in the head to drive a normal car that fast unless you've gone over it with a fine toothed comb and made absolutely sure it was in top mechanical performance... even if you did tune your vehicle AND went to White Sands - you'd STILL need years of experience and training to drive like that. The fact that you didn't kill somebody only points out how lucky stupid people can be sometimes.

The same. If you drive like that you should not be allowed on the road. The same goes with drinking and driving. If you live to see your ten year HS reunion you will be amazed how many of your classmates are dead because of auto wrecks. When I turned 18 I spent a summer taking care of my cousin who has been in a wheel chair since he was 18. Do you want this to happen to you? Or how would you feel if you did this to someone else?What do you think they should do? If you value driving THEN OBEY THE LAW! IT IS THERE FOR A REASON. These laws protect even you.
