This is one thing I would report, having lost someone I love in a 'alcohol related' car wreck!

I'd absolutely call the police immediately! I don't want them on the roads crashing into and killing my family, friends and/or neighbors!! I don't understand how anyone could do differently!

i probably would drive slower or pull off the road for a few mins or change route. take an alternate road. i would not want to get too close to the driver.

I'm not a big fan of ratting people out, but in cases like this when the person poses an obvious public endangerment threat, I would certainly call the police.

Nope,depends on how many drinks they have had. If they were drunk I would offer them a ride. Why ruin their life over a couple of drinks?

I have called the police for suspected drinking and driving. I also passed them when I felt I could safely to get out of the way.

Iâ€™m going to have to agree with Just Wonderingâ€™s post. For one reason or another, people feel better if everyday drivers kill their â€œloved onesâ€ rather than drunks. Everyday drivers are killing people at more than twice the rate of drunks.

If somebody is that drunk that youâ€™re able to notice it, you shouldnâ€™t have any problem passing them. People that are truly intoxicated drive much slower than the posted speed limit, as far right as possible, and they follow the vehicle in front of them from an exceptionally long distance.

Legally drunk and really drunk are two different things. Moreover, whatâ€™s drunk varies greatly from person to person. Therefore, .08 isnâ€™t an accurate measurement of intoxication. Lastly, a driverâ€™s experience and ability will also dictate how well the driver is able to handle drinking and driving. Itâ€™s entirely plausible for a person with exceptional experience, high tolerance for alcohol, and exceptional driving ability to be .16 and drive better than some nitwit that canâ€™t handle a car when heâ€™s stone cold sober.

If drinking and driving is a criminal charge, then speeding, yapping on the cell phone, and all other forms of reckless and or careless driving are also criminal. After all, reckless drivers are killing more than two people for every one the drunks are.

Call the police. I have done so in the past. My aunt and uncle were severely hurt by a drunk driver and I have no tolerance for anyone who commits that behavior nor do I want to see others hurt because of it.

Mr. bolillo_loco are you serious about your comment or were you joking ? Have you ever picked up a drivers manual from the DMV and read it ? The legal alcohol limit is 0 (Zero), dont you watch TV that shows ads, Buzzed driving is drunk driving ?. If you DO have to drink, stop somewhere and waste your life. Dont do it at someone elses expense. Drinking at any level slows down your judgement and reaction. If a kid runs along the road and a person is drunk then the kids stands no chance. Driving is dangerous as it is. Dont pass such horrible comments and make it worse. I have reported about 2 people who I have seen coming out of a wine store and opening that bottle of beer and chugging away. If you are so desperate ask someone else to drive or get a cab. Dont be a moron and destroy someone elses life
