Dial 911. Get the description of the car and the tag number if you can. Be prepared to let them know the direction and location of the car. I'd never let it go, it's not only for the safety of other drivers, but for the drunk driver, as well. |

Pull over and dial 911. Try to get their license plate number. |

Call 911 immediately when you see this and give the dispatcher the vehicle's description, plate number and direction of travel. Give driver description if you can as well. Remember the next time it could be you or someont you love in the oncoming traffic lane when the drunk decides to drive again. |

call 911 on my cell and follow at a safe distance until they caught the guy. I don't want any more deaths on my conscience, not even Fat Teddy Kennedy or his Nephew Patrick. |
|

Believe me...
|
I would call the police. Who cares what the time is! He might be driving drunk again when the roads are more busy and kill someone. |

I would get his tag number and use my cell to call the police. He is a danger to himself and everyone else. He also deserves to be punished! |

This has happened to me several times and I called the Police on both occasions on my hand held phone. I am not sure what if any action the police take - but I would definitelly not want the consequences of my not doing anything to be a bad or fatal accident a bit furthur down the road. |

this is what I do - and I've done this several several times.....
I follow them long enough to get their license plate number and a description of the vehicle - and I call 911 to report it - they ALWAYS send out an officer to check it out!
I just don't want to take the chance of someone being killed because I didn't take the few minutes to report it.... |

it would be best to call the police to help him, that is if your in a hurry..But if you got time, bring him to the police station for him to sleep first then later be back to his home sober. |

I would most definitely call the police. He is putting your life, his life and everyone else's who is driving on the road. but if it was 4:30 then not a lot of people would be out but still. The best thing to do would probably call the police. I would possibly follow him a little ways and see if he stops at a store and then maybe you could tell him not to get back into his car.
I saw something on this on tv. |

What is wrong with this picture? Of course you call the police, you take down the licence #'s, because the life you save may be your own! By the way, what were you doing out at 430am? |

We saw such a driver last night, called the police on our cell phone and followed the driver at a safe distance until a patrol car could get to him. The dispatcher stayed with us on the phone until the patrol car got there. I was impressed with their efficiency and courteousness. |
