It's a Spanish swear word; derogatory term of address that I wouldn't be able to translate literally due to the rules of the site.

it means like calling someone a punk, back when bad words actually effected people it ment a$shole but today like you know you can watch tv and someone will call someone a bltch and you dont even think twice about it, so 20 years ago it was like a$shole today its like calling someone a punk

Spanish words mean different things depending on where the person using the word comes from in Mexico. Or if they are from another country other than Mexico it may mean something else. For me pendejo is a harsh way of saying stupid. I have heard it used as meaning a--hole.
