I cry at home, plenty, but never in front of him.

Perhaps it's because he has to keep himself together infront of the other inmates, but when he sees you it's too much to contain.I know it's very common for people to seriously struggle with the fact that their partner is on the outside and their mind and imagination run riot.I hope he won't be in this position again and realises an honest life on the outside with the woman he loves is what it's all about. He might be wondering why 'you' don't cry when you see 'him' even though you said you do at home-his paranoia may make him think you've lost interest, could find someone else on the outside and thats why you're not showing the same emotion. Two people i know who've been inside struggled greatly with paranoia about their partners.Hope things work out for you both x |

I've went through that with my bf. This is really mean, but when I'd see him cry, I'd get pissed off and turned off. I mean, he knew what he was doing was wrong and yet he was selfish enough to do it. They probably do it b/c they are sad and missin you, but once they get out, it doesn't take long for them to forget. |

Because he is a wuss... If he didn't commit a crime he wouldn't have to be there... Funny how these idiots don't get that until it's too late... It doesn't really matter because I'm sure he is not thinking of the person/persons he victimized and how they or their families are crying.... |

maybe he doesnt like jail. maybe he thinks he's a victim instead of his actual victims. maybe he'll learn his lesson, although they rarely do. |

Been in this one. Jail is something of a bad place. (Go figure.) The worst part about being locked up (even for a few days) is knowing that the world is going on without you outside those walls. Inside there's nothing but the same thing day after day. Almost completely removed from reality, you have an existance shared only by the few other prisoners you see. When a person visits and they start talking about everything that's happening it can bust a guy up pretty bad. He's missing everything. Fault could or may not be a part of it. The biggest thing is that the people he loves are still living their lives without him. Where all he has to do is sit all day and think about the people he loves, etc, etc, etc. So, there you go. You may cry. But, when he sees you he probably sees everything he's missing. It's possible he feels a bit unneeded since you're fine. But, I'm willing to bet real money that if you actually told him how you felt. He'd take that on as something he could do for you. Something he wouldn't not be there to see. And maybe he might feel needed. But hey, just my opinion. |

Not To Serious

It might be that he feels guilty for what he has done and when he see you he knows that what ever he had done was wrong. Being in jail is not the hard part The hard part is knowing that you have loved ones out there suffering for something that he did |

Honestly, without knowing the guy, I could only venture a guess, and that would be slim. Know this isn't going to sound great, but, it's self pity in my opinion. Knowing you screwed up, and that there's no one to bail him out THIS TIME...
I'm guessing it's not his first time inside... and he's always been able to blame the problems on someone/something else. He's being a scared little boy and having to deal with consequences, but having to save "face" when around the other cons. Seeing you is the only time he can drop the walls, not the ones around his heart, but from around his ego.
my 2 cents. |
