After all, he has paid his debt to society. Shouldn't he be allowed to try and get his life back together.

Sure. I didn't have all that much of an issue with his crime in the first place.
Yes, he was cruel to the dogs, but no different than what happens on farms across the US daily when farmers kill livestock for food we eat.
I sincerely doubt that any NFL team is going to pay him $10 million per year as he is estimating he will earn.
2 years of eating prison food and not doing an NFL workout is going to take it's toll on his body and health. He'll be lucky to get the veteran minimum. |

After Michael Vick gets out of jail, I think he should be allowed to play football again. I'm not sure any team will want him, though. I'm doubt any team believes his athletic skills are worth the stigma that comes with him. |

Absolutely, he's done his debt to society. Anyone who commits a crime should be allowed to go back to work, but will any NFL team have him is the real question. The answer to that is probably no. |

Honestly, yes. He's going to get major publicity....people are intrigued by this sort of thing. If he doesn't he signed for 10 mil or more, I'd be suprised. |

If anyone will hire him, then he should be allowed to play. I doubt any team will want him though. It will be hard to convince a team and fans to support a dog killer.
He should not be allowed to own pets, however. |

Everyone else is allowed to go back to what ever jobs they had before going to jail (except people in the financial sector) so why shouldn't he. It is too bad that one of his provisions for going back to the NFL couldn't be to have half of his income being donated to support animal shelters across the country.
Besides, if we don't let him go back to work we'll probably have to support him on public assistance. Why not let him have high wages so that he can pay high taxes instead. |
