They will remain in jail until trial, or until the bail is reduced to an amount they can post. If they are found not guilty, the bail is discharged and they are released. If they are found guilty, the judge will decide whether to continue bail, or to revoke it or to reduce it pending sentencing. |

They will have to sit in jail and wait trial. Depending on the crime, maybe working with the narcotics unit would be a good way to get out of jail. Otherwise they are in there until trial, and then they can sit longer depending on the outcome of the trial. |
