It depends on why you are there. If your charges are drug related than yes they do. If they are not drug related it will depend on your actions upon entering the facility.

Nope, they do not test you. You would think that they would, since that is most likely one of possibly many reasons why you are there in the first place, but they never check you. I am assuming you are asking this question because you plan on drinking or smoking in the near future. My answer to you is smoke and drink til your heart contents. Puff away, you can friggin chain smoke if you wish to do so, and down one drink after another. So do not be nervous of doing any kind of drugs or drinks you are perfectly safe it is practically an "Anything goes zone."

Trust me, take my advice, you have no reason to worry, stay calm and relax.
