Call the non-emergency number. Only dial 911 for absolute emergencies. Some people don't realize they can get in trouble for dialing 911 in a non emergency, although they rarely pursue it.
It is always a good idea to keep the non-emergency number available. |

I think a cat stuck in a tree is not a reason to call either number. The cat got up there, he can figure out how to get down himself. There are other priorities more important. Why don't you just get a ladder and get him yourself? |
