Some people just never learn, my future brother-in-law has repeatedly had run-ins with the law. His most recent was for unauthorized use of conveyance and destruction of property to which he got 12 months of probation. The time before that he was actually in jail for a myriad of charges, including felony B&E, larceny, assault on a female, ect. He served his time and has been out for about 2 years.
Last night he did it again and this morning was arrested and charged with another felony b&e and another larceny. His new girlfriend is trying everything she can to get him out on bond. I would assume that he'd get some time for this one, since it's not the first b&e/larceny he's had...but what do you think will come of this? Since he was on probation and got arrested...will he get locked up for a while?

This is in NC, btw...I don't know if that matters.

Hope the judge will deny bail, but jails are crowded . . . .
Your sis needs to move on from this guy; he's bad news. Obviously you know that, and you prob have tried to tell her so. Maybe you cd say that you are worried she will have this kind of stress and worry every time he goes out at night, and everytime she doesn't know where he's been or how he earned so much more money some weeks. You cd say you are worried she'll be stuck waiting on him and visiting him in prison for yrs., or having to take her kids to see Daddy in prison. idk. |

He's looking at jail time most likely. If it were his first offense he possibly could have gotten off with a plea bargain where he would have to take a course and a whole bunch of community service. The fact that he was also on probation exacerbates things. Really all you can do is hope for a lenient judge and hope that he gives minimal jail time. |

It doesn't sound like he has much money so he will probably have to use a Public Defender. Chances are he is going to jail. If he had money and could afford a real lawyer there is a good possibility that he could get out of it with no jail time. I am gonna say that he will most likely get around 3 years end up serving 2 or less and get out. |

they have already given him a chance, the law does not take it lightly when they keep messing up, he will definetly do some time for awhile |
