Yes, officers call in your driver's license number to the dispatcher, confirming the information on the license and any prior citations, outstanding warrants, suspensions, etc. If the officer asks to see your driver's license and returns to their cruiser, they will run your information. |

9 times out of ten yes. In most places it is required.
Thing is at this point they have to arrest you. Then they are going to have to tow your car which is big bucks. |

not always. I hav been pulled over for speeding a few timez and i was only run once . I think if there bored,or you are suspect or there just try'n 2 be super copz they will run you. they probably think they are cool when they brag about giving some poor single mom a ticket that puts her in a position of providing christmas for her kids or paying a fine for exceeding the speed limit by 2 mph. |
