Will anyone ever forget?I was asleep when the first plane hit.My husband called to tell me about it.I turned on the TV to see what was going on and watched in pure horror as the next hit.I cried so hard that day for my fellow Americans. It was a tragic, tragic day.♥ |

I was feeding my son who was two weeks old at the time. I'd slept in that morning, and when I turned on the television, I saw the reports. I'll never forget it. |

I was lying on my living room floor 8 months pregnant and unable to sleep. At that time I always woke up really early in the morning so I would always watch the Today show and that's when I saw it unfold. I could'nt believe it was really happening. My first instinct was to call my family in New Jersey to get confirmation on what the hell was going on there. Thankfully I had no loss of family from that tradgedy. |

My mother was in the hospital having a pacemaker put in, so it was already a stressful day. Plus it was the anniversary of my dad's death, so we were all already low-key. At first everyone who saw the first plane's damage thought it was an accident, but as we watched, the other plane went into the other tower. We were horrified as we realized it was intentional. It was kindof weird, going down into the cafeteria of the hospital, and some people knew and were crying, and others hadn't been near a radio or tv and didn't have a clue. It was surreal, in a way. I will never forget the looks on those poor peoples faces as they ran to try to get away as the towers fell. I cried for two days, and it still hurts my heart thinking about it! |

I was at my grammar school during gym class. Then we went back to the classroom and my teacher turned on the tv. It was the only time in my career at that school that we watched tv. I remember people being concerned about the Sears Tower also. It was scary to think that this could hit so close to home. Not to take away from the tragedy, but thank god it didn't hit Chicago. |

I was 17 and it was my junior year in high school. I was a teacher aid in my first morning class when someone ran in and told us. Every room had a tv in our school and they turned the tv's on. All we did all day was sit in front of the tv and watch the news.... |

I was at home watching it happen. Praying that people would be OK. It was such a hard thing for the family's to go through, I am still to this day praying for the family members of the people who died. and thanking God for the people who lived. And thanking God for all the brave people who helped out during one of the most horrible times in the world. |

I was at work. The owner decided there'd likely be no business that day, (insurance underwriter) so we closed up shop and went home. I was glued to the TV all day. |

I was about to go to work. I saw the first small part of it on TV at home, and then at work our department had a TV turned on as well, so we all just stood there, solemn, and watched for about 15 more minutes. |

I was in Wytheville, Va installing a storefront in the strip-mall beside the Wal-Mart off of I-81. We had pulled up to the job site and seen other guys huddling around the truck radios listening to the world change forever. It was at that time I thought of my daughter, who was only seven months old at the time, and how the world that she will grow up in and the world I grew up in would be two completely different places. |

I was at work. One of the guys heard the news on the radio, came up front to the office and had us put the TV on so we could watch the news. We thought the pilot had a heart attack or stroke or something...until the second plane hit. |
