Which court holds cases from concurrent jurisdiction?

if there is concurrent jurisdiction which court would hear the case, because i know that the party can decide what court to go to thats in his best interest to win the case, but would they all go to a fed. court or a state court to save time and money?

The party involved does not have the ability to determine which court they will go!

A case occurrs in a specific jurisdiction and will appear in District Court first. If the case is bound over to a Grand Jury, the Circuit Court will hold jurisdiction.

If there is a conflict of interest between defendant and the court of jurisdiction, the defense attorney can ask for a Change of Venue.

Federal Courts are in place where the case is handled on a federal level based upon the laws violated.

Federal Courts do not prosecute state violations.

You don't get a choice. Whoever filed the charges, state or federal, will hear the case.
