I personally like the springfield better. However, I suggest going and trying both out for yourself. Find which one you are more comfortable with. For me, I don't like Glocks in general, and I honestly wouldn't choose either of these guns. The springfield is a good gun, but for me, it just doesn't fit my hand right. The only way you will know which one is better for you is by trying them both out and deciding for yourself. |

They are both great quality. it is a personnel choice. I find that the XD, in .40 S&W, fits me and points well in my hand. I spend less time aiming with the XD then I do with Glocks, HK. or S&W.
I have good friends who are excellent shots who swear by the Glock. |

And id say neither gun the Browning Hi Power is the only gun i personally like. |

Since both are good quality, reliable firearms, the answer to your question is "The one you shoot best with." Try them both out at a range that rents guns and pick the one you're most comfortable with. |
