Which is the worst: a male police officer or a female police officer?

I think both men and women in law enforcement deserve are support and appreciation. They put up with a lot and for the most part do so in a professional and respectful manner.

Men and women of law enforcement don't have anything to prove to anyone. If you don't listen to them when they told you to stand still and you continue to resist arrest. You get's what's coming to you!

Is that coming from personal experience? In my experience female cops are quite nice and I knew one who made a point(much to the annoyance of her partner) of picking me up from the pub at closing time and dropping me off at home!

In anycase I think that you are wrong. Women police officers have nothing to prove. So in relation to your question it all depends on the specific person you come accross....... just like any other profession (and not specific to the police).

They DO have something to prove - they have to prove to their partners and society itself that they are worthy of the position without being called names or being generalized as "weak".

I don't know which is worse though - both the men and women and uniform can be equally callous, but can also be equally helpful. Depends on the situation.

They are both as bad as each other. The staff in most nicks probably don't have a GCSE between them. If they did they would have got a more respectible job, like working in McDonald's. And to the buffoon at Manchester Airport - if you are so clever why are you directing traffic? Shouldn't you be CID or flying squad?

I have experienced 2 types of female officers, some I think who have too much testosterone! Though generally I think females are more even handed than men, who always stick to themselves and with each other! A very unhealthy environment as they soon actually believe that everyone should be treated like a criminal!
