Which nation's police have the best cars?

i went to itlay and they had alfa romeos!

although saying that, the UK police don't seem to do bad - a lot of BMW 5 series, X5s and Range Rovers down my way (avon and somerset), although still far to many fords to be cool.

just be thankful you're not french (obvious statement i know) but i work there a lot (airbus) and their police are almost universally stuck with old renaults etc.

UK also have Subaru Impreza not too bad certainly better than the french cars

I have seen some nice police cars in the states. Those are usually the cars they confiscate from drug dealers and they paint them up to look like a police car.

the british police also have tricked up mitsubishi evo's-get one of those in your rear-view and you aint going nowhere.

the volvo's are not to be underestimated nether-they can move a bit as well.

Reason I say this, I saw a show were they rode and talked about what the car is equipped with... they have a computer and camera system on board that will automatically run plates they pass while driving down the road. This way they are alerted to wants on vehicles while just passing them.
