Their name suggests a terrorist organisation - No?. Can we expect that they will be dealt with in a similar fashion to other terrorist organisations?

No they are a bunch of Loonys who want Cornwall reserved for themselves and people born there.
The most recent stunt is to send threatening letters to two prominent business men from London who have bought and opened business there. One of them being Jamie Oliver the famous chief.
They rate more like the "Angry Brigade" from the 1970s anothe British Fringe Group.
They have no machine-guns or explosives and I predict they will soon be known to the local plod. |

They want to achieve Cornish independence, just like Lisa Simpson.
Unlike Lisa Simpson, they set fire to things and push turds through people's letterboxes. |

they are the ones that want no mention of the Brits in the towns and they was meant to be responsible for the spray painting of all the national signs...........
You are hard pushed to find an ACTUAL cornishperson these days and from what I saw very few of them actual own any businesses and try getting them to work............hence why in a lot of the coastal towns you get the Emmit's doing all the crap jobs...........

There main gripe is the 'English' buying up property and effectively forcing locals out of villages. A similar Welsh group existed in the 1970's and burned down several English owned cottages. |

They are fed up with the buying up of housing for Holiday Homes, thus leaving the locals with a housing shortage at grossly inflated prices.
That and protecting the Pasty Grazing areas. |

There have been rumours here in Cornwall of a Cornish Liberation Army for years. I recall another rumour about an ex-cop who blew up his shed in an attempt to make explosives. It sounds like the plot from a film akin to Saving Grace, but there is much more to this story. Cornwall is a distinct constitutional entity which has in the past enjoyed veto's over Westminster and a variety of other rights and privileges. These have never been repealed, but there is currently no mechanism that enable Cornwall to benefit from this enshrined right to said certain privileges. House prices are horrendous here and the culture of 'Cool Cornwall' has attracted many incoming residents. Many Cornish people are justifiably fed up that they struggle to live here, with many forced to relocate themselves, to find work. There are places in Cornwall which are some of the highest on the multiple indices of deprivation. Cornish people are not even allowed to declare themselves as Cornish on the Census. Cornwall is in all honestly one of the Celtic nations of Britain. Many in Cornwall seek a Cornish Assembly. Some go further and seek a Stannary Parliament. So far no system of governance has properly reflected Cornwall's constitutional and cultural position. It became a county in the 1890's. It is now being pressurised to become a unitary authority, an urbancentric model. It is effectively being molded into a giant city region. Nothing about Cornwall is remotely like a city region! So, yet another inappropriate system of governance is being proposed for us here. I can see how it must sometimes feel as though something is engineering Cornwall to become a giant city on sea for retirees and people who may see a move to Cornwall, (Kernow), as a lifestyle choice. Although I wasn't born in Cornwall I get just as annoyed with people who pay no mind to the difference between Cornwall and England. I know both and they are very different, in atmosphere, culture and many other respects. In time many hope Cornwall will eventually enjoy the same kind of national resurgence and recognition as Wales and Scotland. The power to legislate to ensure restriction of holiday homes would make a huge difference. The 'trendiness' of Cornwall that some promote is considered to be a major factor in the housing crisis here. Many people do move here for lifestyle, sun, sea, sand etc. I guess those involved with the alleged CNLA see the celebrity chef's as a prominent part of this. |

The so called Cornish Liberation army are a right wing Catholic terrorist organisation and so there is very little chance of any action being taken against this group. They are the remnants of the supporters of the incestuous former royal family the stuarts, who were worse than the present German parasites we have had foisted on us. |
