Who do you contact when you want your renting tenants out of your street?

We live in a private area, however, recently, the council have housed 'housing association' people in our area. This has made the area go down very much. In particular, we are housed opposite tenants who are into crime and frequently the police have had to be called, as they're seen with bricks in their hands threatening to harm their so called friends. Though never arrested, they burgled our house about 3 years ago. Who can we contact in confidence to get rid?

First you have to find out who put them in to accommodation. More likely it will be Council. I believe the department should be named as Housing allocations or some thing similar. Call there and find out how you can put a formal complaint on council tenants.You can on top ot that contact police... but it is pretty useless: police cannot do lots and "association people" aware of that, especially under age ones. As long as I know if they live in temporary accommodation 3 warnings and they will loose something... not sure exactly what. |

Make a factual list/diary in chronological order (if you can) of all the things these people have done.
Then contact the council - trouble makers like this are often removed, but you will need to have some solid facts down first. |

You need to contact whoever housed them (council or housing association)
They will ask you to keep a diary of events for one month which they will then use as evidence in moving them. |
