Who else thinks Cops just have this arrogant attitude about them?
|
People defending cops always say they act like jers because they deal with creeps and puks everyday. That's no excuse. A cop will pull you over when you're going like 6 mph over the speed limit, and they feel like they can pry into your personal life by asking all kinds of unecessary questions. Lawyers always get the bad rep but when in fact it should be the other way around. Everyone deserves a proper defense, especially when it's something stupid like trespassing! I think they need to screen cops better in the future and gets this problem fixed. What do you guys think?

Stopping someone from doing 6mph over the limit can end up preventing her/him from picking up the little bits of bobby and sally smeared down the next 3/4's of a block because someone was doing 35 over.
Go read up on 'broken glass theory' in policing. |

How about you actually obey the law? You know that cops could technically pull you over even if you were just 1 mile over the speed limit. So shut your mouth and let them do their job.
They do have a bad attitude, but they're allowed to. Just live with it. |

Anyone who is going 6 mph over the speed limit IS a creep or a punk. (Or did you mean "puke"?) And yes, cops have the right to ask all sorts of questions about your private life. The more questions they ask, the more likely they are to discover that you, in fact, are committing some kind of crime.
Stop breaking the law -- even in "minor" ways such as speeding or trespassing -- and you won't have to worry about cops being arrogant. |

that's an immature way of thinking. We have speed limits for a reason, so you really shouldn't even go 1 mph hour, not that we all don't anyway.. but cops have to deal with alot everyday, and not that that's an excuse but it does give them a reason to be wary of people. There job is to ask questions in order for us to be safe. |

Hey guess what, that cop that pulled you over for going 6 mph over the speed limit has dealt with more sh*t than you will ever see. He has more than likely saved more lives than you will know or get the chance to, and he does it even when hated by people like you who get mad because he pulled you over for breaking the law. I think you're just mad that you got caught. |

law enforcement officers are merely doing there job.
slow down your driving, why should you be allowed to speed? it certainly appears your in a hurry to get nowhere. (in life as well)
it seems you are the one with an attitude. without law and order, it would be chaos. |
