I do. The proven result of gun bans is that Criminals will ignore the law and continue to obtain and carry guns despite them being "Banned". And the law abiding will follow the law and not have them. Do you think a criminal will pass up that kind of opportunity? |
|

Who aren't you?
|
Conceal and carry laws can decrease crime...
If you don't know who is carrying a gun, would you risk robbing someone.
The problem is the criminals will already break the laws, so it's not going to stop them illegally acquiring a gun and breaking laws with it. |

I can only say that they banned legaly held pistols eleven years ago in Britain, and since then firearm crime has rocketed. When they wanted to tighten up gun laws, every little thing involving any kind of gun was a 'gun crime' from a kid having an airgun in the wrong place, somebody poaching, somebody shooting and having the shot go over the wall, anything to swell the list of crimes. Now they only count 'serious crimes' when somebody gets killed or shot, or armed robberies when shots are fired. Yet now there are thousands of firearm crimes a year compared with one or two hundred before. And it is getting worse. Is that answer enough? |

It doesn't matter what we think, what matters is the truth. : )
When scientists actually study this issue, they conclude that a change in gun laws results in more crime if civilian ownership of smaller arms is limited. By "smaller arms," I mean weapons that are not fully automatic, and not including ordinance. |

The definition of criminal is someone who breaks laws. So if you pass a law banning guns why would he say oh I better obey that one? |

Yes, gun banning laws do increase the incidents of gun crimes. The reason being has been stated many times before. If you take the guns out of law abiding citizens hands, then the only people with guns are the criminals who don't follow the laws anyway (perhaps they have learned the right idea). Actually the truth is that there is really no reason to create gun laws anyway, because of the fact that all Americans are Sovereign individuals in control of themselves and their own lives, and don't need permission from the State or Federal government to have guns.
Ask yourself did cowboys in the Old West register their guns? Of course not. Why? Because they knew they had a right to own guns, and any gun of their choice, be it pistols, rifles, or shotguns. The same rule applies today given to us by the 2nd Amendment to our Constitution, and government does not have the authority or right to over ride the law of the land which is our Constitution.
The people of this nation have either forgotten or ignored their history, began acting like sheeple when the government tries to place Controls or Restrictions on the people, and their rights, and the people allowed the government to do it, instead of physically throwing the anti-gun legislatures who passed these gun laws out of office onto their butts.
If the people want to regain control of their rights, then we as a nation of Sovereign individuals must stand up to our governmental legislatures, stop acting like sheeple, and tell the government legislatures "STOP screwing with our rights." Wake up people, it is your rights that are being stripped away. Stand up and tell your government "hay you work for me, leave my rights alone." Governmental legislatures must be told this and in large enough numbers where as they actually get the message loud and clear.
Just because they work in government does not give them the right to tell us what we can do with our lives and the(government officials) need to be reminded of this on a daily basis. Call your Representatives and tell them to leave not only your gun rights, but all of your rights alone, and only do the job they were Constitutionally assigned to do. If our legislatures can't follow the Constitution then the need to get out of office, and allow people who can follow the Constitution the opportunity to get in office and lead our nation in the right direction. There is an old saying if goes like this "If you can't lead or follow then get the hell out of the way". This applies to our government officials as well. If you can't follow our Constitution than get the hell out of the way. |

I think the use of guns is legal to protect yourself against the Hitler /Concentration camp Eugenics program that was started back in the days of Hitler in his camps and is still going on now in established Eugenics Program areas in the United States. Now, Bush was at the top for awhile, but now we have a more developed of the mixed race at the top in Obama. The affected people of Alabama are proud to have him in the office of leader and coach. |

"If you don't know who is carrying a gun, would you risk robbing someone."
i strongly disagree with this statement. when someone is planning on robbing something they dont think if they have a gun or not. theres a little store down the street from my house and its been robbed several times. half of those times the robbers has a gun pointed back at them.
but to answer your question. i dont think it will increase or decrease crime. maybe over time it will decrease alittle bit but not by much. seeing that most crimes dont involve guns. |

Only if you can find a way to keep criminals from being able to get guns. The UK has done a fairly decent job of that, but for some reason the U.S. hasn't yet been able to. Of course, we still can't even get our act together enough to implement the metric system, so that's not surprising. |
