Why are undercover policemen so rude?

Can you tell us the basis for this question? Most undercover police men don't actually reveal themselves as such.

They usually don't do anything that would draw undue attention to themselves, however if being rude to you were somehow a facit of their undercover identity (i.e.; punk gangbanger) then maybe that would explain their rudeness.

Maybe they're not rude - people just don't like getting caught and often don't cooperate. Therefore - the police have to use force.

here's the deal...the reason behind MOST of us in general being rude its the fact that if they are undercover then there must be a serious enough issue that the suspect is doing to warrant the officer to go undercover. Thus meaning they have no tolerance for people who break the law...when you are breaking the law you should not be given respect. Plain and simple. If you have enough disrespect to violate the constitution then you do not deserve to be treated with respect.
