Well, people go missing for different reasons. Remember that missing persons reports are always exaggerated. If 30,000 people are reported missing in one state a year, that means that nobody has seen them for 24 hours, but they could have been found the next day. Some do go missing for good, though. People often assume the worst, but they could have been abducted by aliens, starting a new life, etc, who knows. |
