Can you provide some examples of child murderers who were given less than 15 years in prison?
Personally, I regard drug dealers and those who harm children as equal levels of scum. Both should get either death or life without parole in a 'super-max' prison. |

Each state has different laws, and different criteria upon which to prosecute offenders. Perhaps there was not enough evidence in the case of a murderer to get a conviction that would carry a life sentence--you just don't know unless you read the transcript of the trial. I believe life imprisonment is fair for drug "kingpins" as this affects thousands or more lives negatively through their drug sales. |

There is no single justice system and each case is different. |

Each defendent is senteced under the evidence, laws, and merits, and specifications of the case. Murder could be anything from 1st degree murder, to negligent homicide. Often times drug kingpins are implicated in much more than drugs, including murder, and police murders. |

In my opinion, they both should be jailed for good! They are on the same level of douch-bag in my mind.
