call the police again and tell them if they wont do anything about it, the local paper might like to hear whats going on and THEN maybe someone will listen. they should come your way after that. |

Heres the thing. In order for police to do anything, we need evidence. That takes a hell of alot more than people sitting in a vehicle and others pulling up exchanging "something" and driving away. That will never hold up in court, absolutely never. With the lack of man power in the majority of areas, it may take a great deal of time for a unit to respond or may not at all with the lack of evidence. However, if you voice your concern for your safety it takes presidence. |

Many news programs have websites and phone numbers you can call to report things like this. If it is good enough they would go undercover to show what is happening. Let them show it on the 5:00 news and watch how fast the police get involved. There is also Dateline and 20/20. You never know when they are working on a story just like this and need more material. Good Luck!
By the way keep an accurate log of when and what time you called the police and did not get help. |

Could you safely and secretly videotape the transaction? If you did, and could present the video evidence to the police, it might speed things up in getting some action, especially if it was clear who was dealing and buying, etc.
I know it seems like that would be doing their job for them, but police budgets in some places have been slashed to the bone, and they may be under manned. |

Unless you can testify that you saw a drug deal take place. That means describe in detail what was exchanged between the 2 parties. Or, unless the Police actually see the drug deal take place, they won't get arrested. The Police don't have the manpower to sit on an area to run surveillance for drug dealing. |

They are probably on the take & providing protection for the dealers. |

I live in a small town but when they decided to clean up the drug problem, they actually had undercover people set up the dealers. They even set up the drug deal to be within 1000 ft of a school so they could add to the jail time. I think it takes them a little time, but when they do it, they have got them where they want them. |

Mayor, City Councilman, Congressman
There are plenty of elected officials you can call if the Police do not respond. |

Keep calling the Police and keep a log of the "drug activities" that you observe - including licence plates, etc. Present your list to the Police each time. Keep copies. If they still won't act, contact your local Shire, Council or political representative and tell them what's been going on and ask them to intervene on your behalf. If all else fails - contact your local newspaper and/or TV station for a news story (keep your name anon. though!). |

They are probably observing the activities. They will continue this until they know they have a really good bust or until they discover who the 'main' pusher is.................. |

If the dealers are anything but white the police are too afraid to do anything like enforcing the law for fear they will be charged with racial profiling. A prime example of another failed liberal idea. |

~They're too busy beating up innocent people to arrest drug dealers. I don't mean the illegal immigrants either.~ |

Police are ALWAYS corrupt. That's why there's so much crime. They make ALOT of money from those drug dealers, and that's alot of fun trips to 'Vegas.Honest citizens don't stand a chance of getting real help. You have to MOVE out of your home, even.Believe me, I know what I'm talking about. But they'll get to rot in hell later on after they're dead. So, that's good. |
