We could modernize it so that certain components would be electrical. If a faster method of execution would be more humane, then it seems the guillotine would fit this bill perfectly.

Because it's considered cruel and unusual.
Executing a person is one thing. Beheading them is another. What, exactly, is the point in beheading someone? |

Yes!!! Off with their heads! It is probably more humane than they way that the perps likely killed their victims (many murder victims suffer before they die). We need to quit coddling murders and the like. Convicted, one appeal. If you lose the appeal - off it comes. |

You have to get those on the death row to actually be killed first. Secondly, you would have to have juries sentence people to the death penalty to use it. Go figure when people live out decades on the death penalty. I wish they would quit wasting tax payers dollars. |
