animals and humans are totally different. Animals rely on instinct, where as we humans rely on our intellect. So animals aren't aware of the consequences, like humans are. A human who commits a crime fully understands the decision they made and the effects it had, as well as the consequences.

Because once their pecking order is set-up, animals follow it. They also don't try to kill / maim / humiliate / insult the person feeding them.

Besides, if you think that some of the trash in jail is violent and "animalistic," go watch some Nature documentaries, especialy those dealing with Wolverines and Badgers. Then watch those dealing with bears and wolves.

The idiots in jail WANT to do harm. An animal just wants to follow it's nature, eat, and procreate, otherwise be left alone.

Because certains people in prison are worse than animals. Animals kill rarely humans, if yes, it is not because they're unkind, just have their natural instincts.
Humans kill often animals for nothing, just for their pleasure or because they are attracted by MONEY !!

Because animals don't know what they are doing, they are like little babies, unlike people who know what they are doing and make the wrong choice. Also, they are in prison for a reason, should they be threated good, if they raped, murder, and stabbed someone or they stold, damaged something? no, I don't think so.

The legal/commercial Matrix sees those in prison as delinquent debtors which animals are not. In this system debtors are bad guys and creditors are good guys. It has nothing to do with what the individual may or many not have done.

This question is not based on fact. In actuality the sludge of society who is in prison gets treated much better than we treat our homeless animals. We don't put to death our inmates if they don't get adopted. (Although its not a bad idea to cut down prison costs.)

im sorry but the last time i checked the majority of prisoners in the US were being treated very well, probably better than they deserve.....however you should tell your sob story to the 8000 stray dogs and cats that are euthanized each year in New York City alone, simply because they cant be socialized....and they cant be socialized because theyve been abused. Im pretty sure that there arent that many prisoners put to death each year in the whole country......and they get 3 meals a day every day until they die.

So your saying that beating an animal and dumping it on the street to starve simply for being born is better treatment than a serial killer getting a lobster dinner as his last meal????

Animals are innocent & they are not criminals. They never stole mony, never raped a women and never been a pedofile. Some of the prisoner even raped some animals.
