Why is terroist activity mainly in the Northeastern part of the US?

It is the most densly populated part of the country. It is where the U.N. is located, The Capitol, the Stock market (minus the Chicago futures markets and commodities) and where most of the influential government people live. Also all of our news agency's are based there. Therefor getting the most "Up to date coverage, Breaking news, and Developing story coverage" around the world. Terrorists are about coverage and carnange not about damage.

i live in NYC which is in the northeast and there's no terrorists here.. only yellow cab drivers(joking)... i guess the reason that it "might" be centered here is because its one of the most populated areas of the United States... Americas finical district is in wallstreet New York and Washington DC is only 400 miles away.. and there are thousands of land marks and tourists attractions.. it would be an ideal place..

The Northeastern seaboard has the most ports and is the hub of most commerce. It is also more populated, but I'm sure if you actually looked at all the major cities in the U.S. you'd see that they too have terrorist activity.

The northeast is liberal and think terrorists are basically good people and just misunderstood. Terrorists feel wanted, and loved there. Everyone has guns in the south and mid-west, and have a disliking for terrorists, terrorists don't feel as comfortable there.

Wherever there are local gangs, there are terrorists groups. It's true that a local street gangbanger is the same as a terrorist. They do almost all the same things

So when you hear of thing like bloods or cripz, think of them more as terrorist organizatins.

There is no difference between bloodz/cripz and things like Al-Queda or Hezbollah.

So I guess since NY is highly populated with gangmembers, yeah, terrorist activity is high in the Northeast. But gang activity is also very high in places like Los Angeles, and Houston, Texas, and Tijuana, Mexico.
Stopping terrorists is a world-wide effort.

Because the reporters are concentrating on that area. It is also closest to the Middle East. Higher concentration of the nations civilization.

NYC is the financial capital of the US and its NYC metro area is the heaviest populated area in the country.

But why is the rum always gone?

That's where most of the people and targets are located. The south has a lower population density, and less targets of international significance that can be easily infiltrated. The midwest is very rural, and the wwestern US is far to large to maintain an effective terrorist presence, as well as having space as a defensive depth around those targets.

Why do people rob banks? Because that's where the money is. Why do terrorists attack the northeast? that's where the people and targets are.
