Because police officer cannot be call girls, unless they are working undercover.
Does the terminology of undercover adverse to under covers clarify it?

It is surprising that a police officer was denied bail and remanded in custody for the charge of being a call girl, as that is a fairly innocuous charge in the grand scheme things. Perhaps the judge thought the defendant was considered a flight risk or would be in danger if released.
