I live out in the country in a small development (50 homes)that is off of a rather busy road and cars go about 50-60 up around the curve . Four times a day the women in our development take their kids in their vans and suvs to the end of our road for the school bus or wait to pick them up. It is usually about 4 vehicles. But the problem is they always have to park their vehicles right at the end of our road and block one lane for about 15-20 minutes each time. So when you turn into our development, and their is another vehicle coming out of the dev., they have to back up because the car coming into the road cannot back up while on the highway. Other day the woman in the second van parked at end of dev. had her car door completely wide open and was standing talking to the first van! I almost hit her door because I can't move over because the yard has a wooden fence. Not just this she even makes a uturn right at the end of our dev. to go home instead of backing her van down the short hill and then make a uturn. I sent the police a letter about 2 weeks ago and nothing done. I didn't want to sign it, not sure if they would tell the women who complained. If nothing done, I am going to the police because someone is going to get killed. Won't the police check this out without someone coming into the office and reporting this?

Thanks I just emailed the Chief and to sargents. Hope it helps this time. If not, I guess I'll just drive myself to the police station.

Who did you send the letter to, the police in general?
Probably deep sixed.
Send a letter, or an e mail, to councilman in your area, outlining this problem, a carbon copy to the chief of police, the mayor voicing you concern in this matter.
If you ave an officer of the Ombudsman also send him a copy. |

Honestly, you should just call and talk to someone - a shift supervisor or a traffic supervisor. Your letter should have generated a response but that may entail how big the agency is your dealing with and the fact that most schools have been on spring break??? |

My advice is that you go and talk to the people that are keeping their cars there everyday, first. If they get upset, just call your Sheriff's Office and have them send a deputy to deal with the people. Sending a letter that is not signed would probably be thrown in the trash.
If you want to file a formal complaint without confronting the people, go down to the Sheriff's Office and let them know what is going on, and tell them that you want something to be done about it. I guarantee you they will listen, because you are very right, this is annoying and very dangerous. |

Contact your HOA board and yell in their faces about this, unless those WITCHES are ON the HOA board themselves(and to them, THEY have the right to do whatever they want and screw all of you!)...
Then call City Hall or the County Government official in your area of the county, and let them have your earful!
