Absolutely! You can be convicted of Obstruction Of Justice for one. You may also be convicted as an Accomplice to whatever crimes he has committed (including what he was convicted of, not just the escape). The best thing for you to do is to go to the cops NOW and tell them what happened. Cover your own butt NOW. |

Yes you will be arrested for guilty by association, you may not get the same length of punishment as your friend but you will spend time behind bars, or if it is a first felony for you, maybe long hours of community service. Your best bet is to avoid the situation. |
