Will he go to jail please help?

my boyfriend got arrested 5 months ago for assault in the 3rd...so he was court ordered to take anger management classes so hes been going to court each month up until his clases are completed....the classes end the middle of april and his next court date is april 28th...will he go to jail after completing the classes? i keep telling him he wont cuz he just has to keep going to court because it was court ordered to take the classes and he just has to keep going to court until the classes are finished...what do u think the end result will be

Very unlikely that your boyfriend will go to jail. If he was ordered to take anger management classes and following the orders of the court then he will have completed his sentence. The end result will probably be that if the judge sees he completed his classes and had a satisfactory run through the order then he will not have to attend any more classes and can move on with his life.

I am worried about you............he might be headed down the wrong path. Are you sure you want to spend anymore time with a guy with a violent background? In ten years he may not be so much fun.......a couple of kids, a mortgage, car payments,bills,etc...........it will not take much to set him off. If that is the life you want? You probably think your in "love" or are you going to stay with him because you are scared what he might do if you leave?

He is doing everything the court ordered and has completed those tasks successfully, he should not go to jail! If they intended on putting him in jail, they would have done so, rather then allow him to run the streets, taking anger management classes!

As long as he is following the Courts directive, its doubtful he will serve any time. As far as going to Court every month, he is showing that he will abide by the Judges decision. Just keep showing up for your classes and make sure you keep your Court date. Good Luck!

Depends on the judges mood the day he goes to court. If he has done everything that was asked of him so far then he should be fine. My brother went to jail for 30 days for a misdemeanor assault charge so your boyfriend should feel lucky they allowed him to just take classes.
