Monday, APR 20, i agreed to go on Deffered Adjudication for a Possesion of marijuana charge. When i agreed to it i was asked if i had done any drugs or alcohol in the past 30 days and i said yes. So they scheduled my first time to meet my probation officer and take the drug test a month later May 20. Is it possible for me to keep on smoking and drinking and fail the first drug test because i already told them that i had done drugs within 30 days. Also i dont even have a probation officer yet.

They can check the level of marijuana that is in your system. On average it takes marijuana about 30 days to get out of your system and the level goes down everyday that you are not smoking. So, if you continue to smoke and you take another drug screen on May 20, naturally you will not pass the test and worst of all the level of marijuana in your system will either have gone up or stayed the same!! And by the way, it does not matter if you don't have a probation officer. I work directly with people on probation or parole with drug charges or drug/alcohol problems... Hope this is a little informative. |

Your levels will be high. THC levels.
I would not take the chance.
They could violate you, you never know.
They are not only testing you for drugs but they are keeping track to see if levels go up or if they are down. If they are up...they will know you have been using.

DUH! Yes you will.If you do not show up, a bench warrant will be made in your name. Differed Adjudication only means your time has been differed, but a positive drug test after a month will land you in the pokie. |
