No sure what a Dog Warrant is, however I know a bad check is a criminal offense - this can follow you the rest of your life. Yes you could possibly go to jail if you get prosecuted. I'm not trying to scare you, but it would be in your best interest to resolve this issue sooner rather than later.

Having a bad check on your record can cause many problems for you, in some cases this will cause you to not get a job. As a previous employer - I did do financial backgrounds checks on my potential employees. This can also effect car loans, house loans, credit cards...etc.

Listen, my only advice to you, is come clean with whoever you wrote that check to, if there are many, then you might need an attorney to help you. If you forego the attorney, then go to the courthouse and talk to someone there in the fraud department. You'll be able to resolve this quicker if you go to the courthouse and a plea of Guilty or Nolo contendere will allow you to pay restitution and fines.

Once this is behind you - you'll wonder why you didn't do this sooner.

That depends on whether the warrants are extraditable. That means, whether the state the warrants are out of will send a Sheriff to come get you and escort you back to the state to answer for your crimes.

If they will not extradite you basically will get held up any time you get your name run by a Police Officer.

misdemeanor properly spelled is most likely no big deal, however, you will need an attorney, I don't know what a dog war rent is, however have your attorney contact the court talk to the presiding prosecuter of that magistrate, beg for forgiveness and pay your fines or off the record move far away take a residency in another state, most states won't extradite on misdemeanors.

No they won't arrest you. You have to go to the Secretary of State to get I.D's and Driver's License. They do not check for warrants and such things because they do not have the database to check such info. However, it would be in your best interest to turn yourself in as soon as possible. Especially since you say they're only misdemeanors. You don't want to be on the run and be considered a run risk. That could make you ineligible to post an I-bond in the future. If you are caught your bail may be really high and you will have to sit in jail until you see the judge.

I think that worrying about getting picked up should not be something that should be your first thought, but rather taking care of your citations should be first. Why not take care of everything so you are free from charges? It is the right thing to do, don't ya think? Financially you can make payments, it is a start and it will help your credit rating with the police and DMV as well.

It may be in your best interest to just go through whatever you need to and take responsibility for your actions. How will you ever be able to clean up your act if you are hiding all of the time? Don't you ever want to rest peaceful at night? Just turn yourself in before it gets worse.

pretty girl is right these are to different departments, tehy dont utilize each other to handle these things, you will be able to get your ID taken care of, if you want to feel bette, just bring a bailbondsmen w/ you --- I think you can fill out the application and get pre-approved like capital one:)

It sounds right to me. Using a false identity is a crime. Why don't you just come clean and turn yourself in. The Judge will go ALOT easier on you. Explain your situation and start living right. If you put it off and keep adding problems, you'll face felony charges.

How about you go deal with your warrents and stop running from them. They will catch up with you in the long run. It is better to deal with it now instead of later. It isn't like they will delete them from the computer system. You'll be caught one day. You played, it's time to pay.
