I have a bench warrant for failure to appear (just a misdemeanor ticket) and will soon have a warrant for Contemptive Court (Providing False Info To Pawn Broker - Class V Felony). I read that the felony is a state wide extraditable warrant so if I were in another state would they extradite me to CO for it.

the other state will contact CO. If CO feels like spending the money then you will be extradited. The other state won't spend their own money. |

Yes, they would. They would call the state you have a warrant in and ask if they wanted to come get you. |

I'm in Texas but it looks like no one else is going to answer so I'll tell you what I think but I may be wrong. Statewide extraditable to me means that they will come get you in any county in Colorado so if you stay out your OK. Don't depend on this as sound legal advice. |

The warrant may vary depending on the nature of the offense. It should specify on the warrant whether the originating state will extradite from out of state, or from non-adjacent states. |
