You cannot enter onto the property. You may stay on the sidewalk but you cannot disturb or stop vehicles from coming and going in the lot.

Two...you're wasting your time. Write to your DMV. Dealers and repairs Division. They'll address your concerns.

If you go to the town hall, request a application to picket, fill out the app return at least 3 days notice, check with DOT to verify what proerty belongs to state and stay within that property line. Be sure to get a legal info from town hall regarding the area you wish to demonstrate. I certainly think public would pay attention and feel more peolpe should stand against used car dealer ripoffs

you could. go to your court house and get a permit to assemble there. if for some reason a cop comes, then u have a legal permit to be there.

I work for a dealer...Stay on the sidewalk and there's not a whole lot that can be done. Just keep in mind that the people on the inside of the dealer like me laugh all day long about it.

First be sure you are properly staying the truth about him.

Was it a new car you bought ( used cars are not covered under the lemon law)

Next check city codes, do you have to pay for a permit to demostrate or have a bond to do it.

You have to be on city property ( right of way) and you can not be blocking any traffic ( also normally you can not be yelling at or trying to shout to or at anyone comming or going

And honestly it may actually bring in more busines

At the automall by my house, someone parked a minivan outside the dealer with lemons painted on the window, along with words like, don't buy here, crooks, etc. It sat their for years before they finally got it moved, the owner had to come move it once a day. I would ASSume as long as you didn't go on their property or harrass their customers, their isn't much they can do to you.

i think it would be awesome. as long as you are on public city streets, you can do whatever you want (anything that isn't criminal anyway). I say DO IT! I would never forget seeing a lemon parading in front of a dealership in protest.......It would be great. I definitely wouldn't buy a car from a dealership that pissed someone off so badly that they decided to do something that clever.

I don't know if you could get in trouble. You might if you are on their propery. I think it would be alright if you are on public property. I think it varies from state to state. Check your states laws. I think you should do it. If they knowingly sold you a lemon or refused to help you with the crap car after the sale...do it. It would make me think twice about buying from there if I saw you. You might want to get a few more people though. One person probably won't make a huge impact. Most will think you're just a whiney customer if you're out there alone. Good luck! I hope they lose some sales.

EDIT: Does your state not have a lemon law? I don't know if that's a state or federal law. I know my state has a lemon law and I would also take legal action against them. But you must have some sort of proof. Keep all records of repairs.

If you go on their property, they can call the cops for tresspassing at best. I know I'd subconciously associate that lot with lemons from then on, lol. Just remember, the lot didn't make the car, if it was used, they likely bought it at an auction....

Yes you can, so long as you are not trespassing on their property and you are not blocking pedestrian or vehicular traffic.

I think in America you can do that, but not ON his propery. But it's a great idea and if you get away with it; maybe you could start a business doing it for p---ed off people all over!
