A police unit is not a terribly fast veh., but what is more important than speed,is the ability to function under pressure.
There was a show on TV that pitted professional drivers against real police...& often,the pros beat the cops...so yes,it`s possible.

I've been outrun, but never by a vehicle like that. It was a motorcycle...only, next day a fellow trooper spotted the perp, who took off on his bike again but lost it on a bridge, hit the rail and was tossed onto rocks some 170 feet down in the gorge.

alright. if ur getting chased by a cop motorcycle, bust a b*tch( means to hit the e-brake and go the other way) because it takes a while for a motorcycle to turn around. if ur getting chased by a cop car, pull in the nearest neighborhood, dont waste ur time turning off the car and just hit the e-brake and run as fast as u can. make sure to jump walls and get at least 2-3 miles away before you take a brake. cuz ghetto birds(helicopters) only look within 1-2 miles away. so yes its possible to outrun cops. but that dont mean you wont get caught cuz my homie had a got away, and when he hopped a wall and cops were waiting there and he got tazzered....(you will not get away in a car and im 100% sure about this)

based on the car, yes you can. but you have to realize that there is usually more than one cop car, if it turns to a chase, and they have radios and air cover. if you're lucky you can get away.

No, because even if you were a perfect driver and could actually drive like that, they'd still just crack out the helicopter and keep tabs on you that way. They'd eventually trap you.

On a straight shot, car against car, yeah probably. Multiple cars or with multiple agencies, no way. Helicopters available, no way. Now... that being said, if I get your plate number, you are screwed either way. But if your going 180 and whipping around corners... its not worth my life, your life or the life of others... I will terminate pursuit every time.

if there is no traffic then sure... even with a regular car,
but with lots of traffic.... possibly but likely not.... usually they'll call a helicopter, then you wouldn't be able to

1 cop, in one car, yes.

More than one cop, absolutely not, because they have radios.

A buddy of mine tried it in his very well equipped Mustang (at the request of the local Police). They had to use a helicopter, multiple cars, and radios to catch, but they were able to get ahead of him in time that they could have stopped him.

Unfortunately, when you are going that fast, there is no way for the police to stop you safely.
