Would you rather get OC sprayed or a dislocate your shoulder?

as someone who has experienced both of these pains i can honestly tell you that it all depends....if its the first time you dislocate your shoulder then that'ss definitely your winner but with each successive separation of the shoulder the pain decreases now for me it doesnt hurt so much coming out it definitely hurts more going back in. but a police pepper spray is painful too. I would rate separating your shoulder as a 8 on the pain scale and pepper spray a 6 except for the spray that they used in San quentin which was a much stronger version which i would rate an 8

rofl these idiots rating oc as a 5 and an 8 are either trying to talk tough, or theyre 14 year old "cops" with "experience." anybody who has genuinely been hit with the oc and had their nose drip down to their toes will tell you that its one of the worst pains youll ever experience in your life.

on a scale of 1 to 10, for me personally it was a 19 1/2. i had never, ever, ever, EVER! wanted to cry from pain before i was hit with the oc spray. the one thing that helped me fight through it and whack the dummy with my asp, punch the bag, and cuff the "subject" was that i got extremely pissed at the amount of pain i was in. my rage fueled me until i was told that i could stop, and then when i did stop i stood there with a water hose in my face panting for air for 10 minutes before i finally manned up and accepted the pain. from there it was another half hour before i could keep my eyes open without forcing them. and it was several hours before the swelling on my face went down.

i took the 5 second taser ride and i would have rather been tased 100 times before being sprayed once. ive disclocated my shoulder and that didnt even COMPARE to being oc'ed. imagine the pain of stubbing your pinkie toe and multiply that by 10, and THEN imagine the pain in your eyes as you struggle to breathe. rofl man i aint lyin to you youre in for the worst pain of your life.

as a point of fact, youre justified in ventilating somebody via lethal force in the event youre oced and in a pickle. thats how much it puts you out of it.

though youre in for an extreme pain, its a pain you need to feel if you have a career in law enforcement in mind. the panic and shock of it is what stops the bad guys. you cant afford to have it stop you. good luck buddy lol! i wish i could be there to laugh at your reaction.

Dislocate. Working as a jailer we had to be sprayed. Now, they say that one of your natural reactions is that your eyes slam shut. When I was sprayed, I went into an asthma attack, face planted in a bucket of water to neutralize and my eyes were wide open. The stuff reactivates in a hot shower (pores open up), so make sure you take a cold one.

OC sprayed. Oc burns your eyes, nose, and sinuses. Sometimes it makes you flush and burns your face. Some have slight trouble breathing. Water in your face and fresh air help to stop the discomfort. But it affects different people in different ways.

I have had a separated shoulder and have been sprayed by OC. I would take the OC over the shoulder. The OC is temporary and should not have any long term affects like a shoulder injury.

As for 1 to 10 with 10 being worst, I give OC a 5. But again it's only temporary.
