WrongPlaceWrongTime

I went to wal-mart with a friend and she was looking around while i got the items i needed. She picked up A LOT of items and I had my items. I told her I was ready to check out and I had my phone and debit card in her purse. I asked her for them and then I decided that I didn't want some fingernail polish I had picked up. She offered to put it back on the shelve. She also told me that she needed to use the restroom. So while she was in the restroom I was in line waiting to check out. I was almost to the door and then a lady stopped me and asked if I would come with her. I complied and she took me to where my friend was and they explained to me that she was in the bathroom stealing everything she had in her hands. I was angry because I am not one to get into trouble with the law. She had lied to the police officer and said I knew all about it. They charged her and I with theft. I had the receipt to all the items I had on me. I dont carry a purse so all I had was the bag and my jacket. I told the officer he could search me and he said that wont be necessary... I told him to check anyway because I had nothing to hide. I have to show up to court in 2 weeks. Ive never had to go to court so I dont know what to expect? Jail time? Just a fine? I also have some text messages of her admitting that I wasn't in on her stealing. Would the judge take time to see them? I would just like some info on what I should do and what the consequences are for me?
