well i'm on duty and we just had a call like that.
we had the vic call not a 3rd pty. if a 3rd pty calls it in we try to get the vic on the ph for 1st hand info.
ma'am we are getting help to you. where did it happen?
when? do you need an ambulance? where is the susp? wpns used? where are you now?
then transfer them to the dispatcher to keep them on the phone (if it's a late report enter it and let them dispatch accordingly) |

You tell the person to try and stay calm and to NOT HANG UP! Then you if the perpetrator is still in their vicinity and also ask about their physical situation (Are they bleeding, hurt etc.?) You then tell them you are sending emergency assistance to them and to stay where they are (if they are safe). You calmly talk to them until the emergency personnel arrive... the end. |

Are you still in danger? |

I would tell them to find the closest house and go there and wait there until someone calls the police and if she cant find a house i would tell her to find somewhere to hide then tell her to stay on the phone with me while i try call the police. |

Get her location, address, phone number, before anything else!
Empathize with the person. Let her know you understand why she is scared and reassure her letting her know help is on the way.
Go with your heart. What would you want someone to do in that situation, if it was you? |

Tell her she is tainted now, laugh at her, hang up. |

Try to get a location so I can notify the Police, and get her the assistance she needs. It could be a phony call, because to contact me, you have to dial between seven, and eleven numbers. This person obviously didn't want the Police. 911 is only three numbers.
If you're a dispatcher, and receive a call like this, the location will show on the screen. You just tell the person help is on the way. |

Ask her name and where she is first. Tell her your name to try and gain her trust. Tell her that you are going to come get her and take her to get help.
Not sure if that is the right answer, but my number is unlisted anyway, so doubtful that would happen to me. |

Tell them to stop talking to you and call 911 |

well the first thing you ask is if the person is feeling ok and in good health (maybe they got assaulted badly).....? where they are so that you can send a paramedic, then you start asking them details about the incident, when it happened, if they saw the assailant, if they need an ambulance, tell them it wasn't there fault, and comfort them until help arrives.. Did you pay attention during class? |

Well, you should say her to be calm and do not panic. Dont worry, man just chillout. |

Ask who is speaking
Ask if this a prank
Ask location of the person
Ask if they are safe
I would tell the person to hang on
I'd call 911 |

i would tell him/her to try to calm down, hang up the phone, and either go to the nearest poilce station/hospital OR dial 911. |

"Ma'me, I'm very sorry for what just happened, but let me help you right now. I need to know you are safe at this moment. I also need to contact the authorities if you will permit me. And I need to call the number you wanted to call, but knowing your state of shock, it's understanable that you misdialed when you called me." |

I would first ask who has been raped. That would seem to be logical since it doesn't matter unless you know who has been raped.
Or you could ask where are they. |
|

Roy
 |
Ask her if she'd like you to come over and pick up where the rapist left off . |

first as a officer u must to go to the place where the rape was happened.
