how to get in to the law enforcement?

I'm 15 and my father is in the secret service and I have decide that I want to work for the law enforcement as my career when i get older (CIA, NSA, FBI, or secret service) how do I prepare for a career like that????

Right now about the only thing that you can do is concentrate on getting a high GPA, have a near-perfect attendance record, and of course a perfect disciplinary record in high school. Then go on to college. Despite what someone else said it is NOT necessary to get a degree in criminal justice. In fact with the agencies that you are looking at it might work against you. Major in whatever interests you. I have a friend in the Secret Service and his major was History.

Then after college things will become a lot clearer and you can explore which agency is best for you.

Probably Military best route, Army has program you can take college classes they pay for it. Only prob is your in the Army but gets you where you want to go. Criminal Justice degree is worthless if you choose College path Law Enforcement better degree.

Stay clean first and foremost. Then study criminal justice in college.
