A cop has to make a split second decision regarding life or death. Everybody else has forever to judge their decisions. Cops haven't gone wild, however people's expectations and second guessing them has. If a cop hesitates he or someone else could get killed. Its not as easy a decision as non law enforcement people seem to think. The ACLU is good at stirring the pot except where its really needed.

Police are suppose to protect and serve. Because of all the drug addicts, spouse killings and basic disrespect for law enforcement they have seen death too many times and know that it's their life or the perpertrators, sad but true.

As I've Stated; It's No longer " WE THE PEOPLE " It's now;
" WE WHO HOLD THE POWER " OR THE GUN" WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO TAKE BACK AMERICA AND ; Completely Impeach the whole of Washington and start over and let the New "Trusted" Politicians EARN their $$$$. Well that might be true.
But, have you looked at the statistics of how many cops being killed by bad guys. (Only because the they can hardly use any force against an aggressor or they get in trouble.)
Policies had changed. Most police departments have a very strict guide line about, when and what force one can use against an aggressor.

You are right police have gone wild. it is about power and the fact that they think they have it. When men or woman put on the uniform they automatically believe that they have this magical power that they can not do any wrong.

Police these days have no respect for citizens. Now there is still some good cops left but not many.
