should i be worried about this creepy guy?

about 2 months ago i met this guy one thurs night at the neighborhood bar i go to a lot (people tend to come up and talk to me b/c im a regular and im disabled/ in a scooter). he told me hes served me bbq next door a couple of times but he recently had been let go b/c not enough business. we talked for a few minutes but became annoying (a pest i guess you could say) and wouldn't leave me alone..... he wanted to exchange #s but i didn't want to so i said ill take his # and call him sometimes hoping hed leave after i took his #. i got his # and left the bar for the night. btw hes about my age i guessing mid to late 20s

this past sunday i ran into him but this time in my condo complex... i know for sure he doesn't live in the complex and he had told me he lived up the road (likely the lower income complex 3 block north of my place).... well he knew my name so when he saw me he came to me and acted all friendly like best buds.... he was like hey im in here to swim whats your room # in case they ask who im visiting..... at this time i didn't really care bc i was hungry so i just gave him a fake room # and left to go eat

well today i go eat at a place across the street and the guys that work there live in the complex too....one of the guys comes over to sit with me and starts talking to me. he was like hey there was this guy at the pool that said he knew you and was roomates with you? he said he was in jail for manslaughter for 5 years and just got out and that he knew you and were roomates.... i told them that i had no roomate and that all was a lie......he also told me he was trying to talk to everyone at the pool and no one gave him anytime and he said he did coke n drugs

i talk to the property mgr and told me next time to call the sec guard on duty (thur fri sat and sundays aftn) and we'll get him ffor trespassin..... i asked if i should be a little worried and he told me dont worry about it. im disabled and get around in a scooter so i tend to worry a little..

i got his # and was wondering if i should do one of those background checks to see if anything comes up (i got his cell # supposably) i also have a friend in the complex whos an ex cop... im wondering if i should talk with him.... this creepy guy last week told me and the mgr at the bar he'd rather work at mac donalds (def dont think hes playing with a full deck of cards) and the mgr and I just looked at each other

i saw him again last night when i was out watch game 6 of the nba finals..... he saw me when i went to the bathroom and singled me to come over i looked at him and just get going.... he shrugged but i saw him again this time closer to him and he gave me a hand pound (like a ghetto handshake) and said you live in 228 right (fake rm # i gave out) i didnt answer and went to the BR again

i told the manager working who ive known for 4 years and i told him everything and said to watch him..... the whole time i was out this guy was hitting on girls...... i talked to his old bosss last night and he said if you see him just turn the other way.... he fired him after 3 days bc he broke stuff

I would highly suggest contacting the police and reporting what's happened. Having the report on file is important should this start to get out of control. Also talk to local police departments and see if he's familiar to them. Any information they can provide could be useful. In the future when you see this person, tell him to stay away from you. From then on, if he talks to you or comes near you without your permission, contact the police and file charges for harassment. You can request an Order of Protection when you file the charges. He will then be required by law to stay away from you, or face charges.
