I Dont really Get it. She brought a bag of weed to my middle school, and she got checked and they found it. She was gone for a week and we thought she was gone for good, probably in juvey or expelled, but she is already back after 1 week. Are They Allowed to Do That?

They can do whatever they want. It's their choice as individuals whether or not they want to report it to the police. If they do, it makes the school look bad and there could be serious problems for the girl.
They didn't want to ruin her life over a bag of pot. Stop trying to punish people, it's not your place. |

five day suspensions are common for that. why would she have gone to juvey, that's over the top for what she did, most people don't go to jail because they have a small amount of weed. |
