She is not a member of yahoo but i am sure she is reading this...
My friend and her man decided they want to get married without telling anyone.. a particular reason is because to bring her guy over to her country to be together. She wants this remain private till she decides to have a big wedding infront of families and friends..
In UK is it illegal to have a second license for the same marriage to 'hide' the first license to remain private?
OR
Is there a way to obtain a second license and prevent anyone seeing the first license to pretend they are NOT married already?
AND
Can marital status be kept private in UK? Is Mrs always neccesary? or does institutions such as; hospitals and police require the knowledge of persons marital status IN PARTICULAR ELECTORIAL REGISTORS?
The key is to remain private in their first marriage
PLEASE THIS IS SERIOUS QUESTION.. SO NEED SERIOUS ANSWERS thankyou.

No you can not obtain a second licence to marry the same person. They could have a religious blessing for the second ceremony and they do not have to take the husbands name on marriage, they can keep their own |

You can't have two legal marriage ceremonies with the same person, but it might be possible to have a civil ceremony and then a religious ceremony which would essentially be a ceremony of blessing or a religious ceremony which would not carry the legal consequences of marriage. The reason why you can't have two legal ceremonies is that you have to declare the marital status of each party on the register and if each were to be described as married, that would void the whole thing.
A woman is not required to change her name or adopt the style of Mrs after marriage.

check out the link below and see if there are some email addresses
