I'm Pro-Choice, but in the case of other women, I think something should be said for those who use abortions as a method of birth control. Serious medical observation and counseling should be done beforehand.
There are some answerers that I find misinformed. Being Pro-Choice doesn't mean you are FOR death. It means you want the right to govern your own body. If you say you're Pro-Life for yourself but Pro-Choice for others, you yourself are Pro-Choice. You want the right to decide for youself. You don't anyone else deciding what you can or can't do with your body.
(I really hate how men choose to have an opinion about this, because they will never be pregnant.) |

Should an outsider decide on what happens to you and your body?
Should the father to be have a say so?

While I was going through my late teens early 20's i was allways pro-life. but after hearing horror stories about rape I changed my mind I think pro choice is the way to go
But being a man I'm not really qualified to answer this!! |

I believe in taking responsibility for your actions and abortions aren't birth control. Besides that, abortions are much more destructive and dangerous than many people realize. However, I am not anti-abortion and I don't think that overturning Roe v Wade is going to make anything better. My views on abortion are more personally driven than politically. |

I would never get one unless my life was threatened but that is my choice. But then again I am male. I think it should be rare and discouraged but not outlawed. |

I am pro-choice but that does not mean abortion is the 1st & only option. Woman know their situations and what's best for themselves in my opinion. I would be willing to compromise and make it a states rights issue. What works for us here in Jersey may not fly in other states. I respect the pro-life prospective. Let the people decide what works for their community. |

So the baby in the mothers womb has to be living creature............
Now for the people to conviniently complete their wishes to sleep with partners enjoy a relationship they are not entitled by marriage........ go ahead with it and when it gives results.............
they tell the baby within so many months is not living.............
and it has not developed this sense and that sense........... so we are not killing anybody.................
They are killing their own children...... and their feel justified in it....... Just to fulfill their lust they go to any extend.............

Against, it is terminating a life, in most cases for convenience of dodging responsibility. These aren't good values to instill in people. All of the pro-choice arguments are flawed. Abortion to save a mother's life is acceptable. |

I don't believe it should be used frivolously. I believe a woman should be able to get one if she absolutely has to, not because she feels like it. I recently found out I am pregnant...I'm only 15 and my home situation is such that my parents can NOT find out. I'm not just saying that because my they'd be disappointed, it would honestly be dangerous for myself and the future child. So I have no other choice. Believe me...it is the last thing I want to do. I know it would be bad for me, my boyfriend, and the child, but I wouldn't mind keeping it. I don't want to get rid of it, it's a part of me, and it's going to be so hard...but I don't have a choice. Sometimes you don't. So I'm pro. |

Because of abortion there is a direct correlation to the increase of teenage pregnancy. Because people see abortion as a safety net they no longer hold off, or take the proper precautions.
Whereas I can see a need for abortion in some cases, most should not be allowed. regardless of the Moral implications, it is simply to easy to get, encouraged to much. Personal responsibility takes a back seat to the easy out. |

I am against it. You are killing a person, plain and simple. Sure, people are pregnant because they are raped/molested and want to have an abortion because they don't want to face the fact that the child growing in them 'is a monster'. Killing the baby wont take away the fact that you were molested/raped. If anything, you should be joyous that out of such an evil crime, a beautiful new life is growing inside of you! It is not the child's fault it was created, and it is only selfish to kill it just because you don't want to face reality.
Now, if you weren't raped and had a baby when you didn't want/couldn't have one, then give it up for adoption as soon as it is born. Give the child a chance to live. You never know, that child you are killing might be the one to find the cure for cancer. Everything happens for a reason. In my opinion, if you have an abortion, you should be charged with murder. The only, ONLY exception I give, is if you know 100% that the child wont live (serious problems with the pregnancy or the mother is dying, etc). But even then, I'd say give it a try, miracles do happen. |

There are so many people whe want to "adopt." It is so sad
"a life must end."
I grew grew up an orphan, with no parent's to speak of. To me
it is better to have been "adopted and loved."
Than to "never have been born at all."
Since I was "not aborted." I learned there is love in this world.
And even a God to pray to, for my given life.
