It is a person's choice.
What is good for me, and what I feel is morally right or wrong is of no consequence. I can choose for myself.
As it stands, abortion is completely legal and therefore if a person chooses to have one they are within their rights. |

We're very lucky we have the option and its a good idea in cases where the pregnancy is the result of rape or the child has something severely wrong with it.
I just don't agree with people using it as a form of contraception |

The only time an abortion should take place is if the baby and mother's life is in danger. I'm a little gray on the rape and incest part because I've witnessed or experienced neither. I fully believe that a woman who says, "It's my body" and "I can't take care of a baby" is selfish. A baby should not be killed because a woman is afraid of the changes her body would go through or because they can't take care of it. It should be placed for adoption. I'm sure it's hard to give up a child but it's better than killing it. I say this because for seven years, I couldn't get pregnant and I would hear statements like the ones I mentioned above and just get so sad that people with that viewpoint could get pregnant and take it so lightly. |

I believe abortion is wrong when it comes to using it as birth control.If you were a rape victim then i understand that it would too painful to carry the baby but if adoption is an option then use it.There are so many couples that are willing to love your baby. |

I'm completely against abortion! It is something that I could never do. And I really hate the fact that there are so many teenagers that get pregnant and think "Oh well, no big deal, I'll just get an abortion." That is ridiculous! I know someone who has had like 7, between the ages of 17 and 20. There should DEFINITELY be a law against that! It's just wrong! The only exceptions would be rape & incest. I just don't think it's right for people to be so careless, and then think that they don't have to face the consequences of their actions. It's not the baby's fault that you are an irresponsible idiot. Why should they lose their life because of your stupidity? Adoption is a way better choice! There are so many people in the world who would love to have children,and who would take excellent care of their children, but are unable to have them. I'll never understand how people who choose to have abortions, are even blessed with children to begin with, when people who would be the best parents in the world, are denied that blessing. Or come on, how hard is it to pop a pill every day, and not get pregnant until you're ready, to begin with???? |

In my personal opinion, I think it's wrong,
BUT
It should ultimately be up to the pregnant person. Abortion is THEIR choice.. it's based on their morals alone and nobody elses. They have to live with their choice, but if they feel like they can, we should let them. |

I believe it is the choice of both people involved except in rape cases. If the woman wants to keep the baby and the father wants to abort, why is it only the choice of the woman? If he wants to abort then if she keeps it, he should not be liable for child support.
If he wants to keep the child but she wants to abort, then she can kill his baby with no repurcussions.

I don't think that it's good or bad. I think that it should be available to all women (and children as there are some 14 years olds that become pregnant). I would never judge someone else's decision on this awesome lifelong responsiblity. The only way I could would be if I were ready to assume the parenthood of this unwanted child. |

A child is a LIFE sentence! Not everyone's cut out for that kind of responsibility. When an unplanned pregnancy does occur,it's usually to young folks who really aren't ready! When will we have enough people? How long can the planet sustain itself with so many people on board? ;-(= |

Well, even though it is a type of murder, at least the child doesn't have strong relationships with people, Like say, someone would kill your mom or dad, you have relationships with them. So i'd say if you really had to do it then you can, or give it to a family who needs it like in JUNO:) |

I'm pro-life of which is Pro-Choice. The upper echelon of the GOP could care less how many dead women they pull out of back alleys. They only want our votes.
The rich, just like before R.v.W., will have their doctors do it anyway - just like they did before.
Similarly, the GOP could care less about the second leading cause of death of young men in this country (hand guns) They only want our votes. Lets not fool ourselves, If guns had nothing to do with election outcomes something would have been done about guns years ago |
