3 months ago someone stole books from a store, walked out alarm went off and he got in his car and drove off as employees saw him . he hasnt heard anything after that since it happened. what are chance that he can still get in trouble for it

After three months, its unlikely that they will. Shoplifting is a misdemeanor, depending on the value of the books, but if no one has done anything after three months, its not likely that anyone will. the question is, can anyone actually say that they saw him steal the books? Without witnesses, prosecution could be difficult.
Now, go slap the sh*t out of your friend for being a common thief. Or, just find new friends. |
