Gay marriage is denied because the people of America aren't ready for such a concept. While I, personally, am for gay marriage, it's necessary to respect the fact that the American people voted against it. Appealing the vote (and winning) is just stripping Americans of their right to vote. How would you like it if people had voted for gay marriage and then your vote was stripped from you?
Crying about it won't do anything either. If someone really wants gay marriage to become a reality, then that person should work to show the people why it should be allowed instead of showing them weakness in the form of complaining. |

Since both men and women can participate in gay marriage, (or be barred from it) it's not a gender issue. A gender issue is separate facilities for male and female students. |

Gender is determined by biological imperative. Marriage is a social or religous institution that furthers the welfare of the family unit and provides for the care of any children from that issue. Since I've never seen any butt-babies and I wouldn't call what butt-buddies have a family ---what the hell is the point to it? It's just queers doing cheers. |

Agree. Boys can't join Girl Scouts based on gender discrimination. Marriage is between a man and a woman, if you don't meet the gender criteria, you can't get married. So yes, it is discrimination, but I don't see any problem with it. |
