im a boyscout
im 12 years old
in boyscouts i have my toten chit (a card that quallifies me to be able to use a knife)
my pocketknife blade is 3 inches long
i bought it at a boyscout camp

am i legally allowed to carry it around with me?

As long as you don't cut people with it, or use it for any other illegal purposes, you should be allowed to carry it in public, though not to some places, like to school or on an airplane.
