Anyone Pro-Life?

Is anyone Pro-Life? you believe that a baby is living hes Gods creation and you should not have a choice to murder something that is living inside you. I belive you did have a choice it was decide not to take the risk of getting pregnant. Wait till your married. Anyone agree?

I'm Pro-Choice.......and also that people do need to take more steps to not risk getting pregnant. Look at the over-populated countries begging for food and stuff...........

You do not know every woman's situation and can not dictate what happens to everyone. There are excellent reasons why abortion should remain legal. People will do it anyway, so it being legal decreases the chances for the death of the woman. There are many medical and personal reasons why one might have an abortion. It should not be used as birth control but when needed, it should be there as an option. Each case is different and you have no right to say what happens to everyone, when everyone is different.

And wait until your are married? God's creation? What is your argument to convince the non-religious types? Surley you must have one :)

If it wasn't for abortion, let's just say I would have lost my mother at the age of four, also my sibling(it wouldn't've mattered, they were doomed anyway). I would've been raised by my father, who is disabled. I will not say WHY my mom got an abortion, I'll just say it's a damn good reason.

I am pro-life in every aspect of the world. No more war!!!

Andy
I'd say I'm pro-life. God and marriage have nothing to do with my thoughts on it though.

I'm pro-life because hearts beat, fingers form, and move begins after just a few weeks from conception. By the time most people realize they are pregnant, that thing inside of them, be it a person or a clump of cells, is starting to look awful human.

And whether you think that that thing is a person, or just the aforementioned clump of cells, NO ONE can deny the fact that it is alive. Like it or not, it is, and an abortion kills that living thing, whatever it is, person or otherwise.

DISCLAIMER: Rape, incest, if the mother is in danger... those make the case for an abortion in my book.

Pro choice and proud of it. This is still a free county, isn't it???

i agree 100%
i got my gf pregnant when i was 18 she was 17, she said she wasnt having the abortion and i could help her and me a part of my babys life or i could walk, i did the right thing and now we have been married 3 years bought a brand new home and to think abortion crossed my mind...

The fact that a fetus is human from conception on does not give it unlimited rights as against those of the mother, who would have to ingest an additional 50,000 calories to bring it to term, and be responsible for the child for years afterward. A compromise is necessary; that laid down in Roe v. Wade was appropriate at the time -- and still is.

Pro-life or pro-choice....until the Supreme Court says it is no longer legal, it remains legal.

That's the black-and-white version.

The gray version is much more complex.

I've had the opportunity to know a few women in my life who, for whatever the reason, had an abortion.

I wish I could share with you the agony and despair these friends had to endure, strictly through their own sufferings, and how many tears were shed. Some for years to come.

I can honestly say to you that I've never known anyone to "celebrate" the fact that they got an abortion. Each on suffered their own version of hell.

Regardless, it is my belief that this was their decision, made possible by the Supreme Court. I will not argue the other side.

But I am glad that I will never have to make that decision.

i think it doesn't matter. i think we set in motion what's going to happen before we even get here, to learn more

pro-life..yes but if the mother is not yet ready to raise a child well/be a mum then that should be her choice i think.Alot of the problems in society can be traced back to bad parenting...it has become more acceptable for teens to have babies - when they are still just kids themselves.Whos job was it to ensure they didnt make a mistake like this-are they capable of making that choice?!Are we to force them into a life, sometimes alone,in a council house (we are paying for)and on benefits (we are paying for)...or use that money to educate them and give them ambition for a career etc so if it happens again they will be capable of supporting....oh gosh im rambling....tis a question that could go off in many tangents..

I completley 100% agree with you!!!!

I'm sure glad my mom brought me into the world.
Yeah, I believe that God knew YOU before you were in the womb.....
I believe that because we are all made in the image of God, He takes it personally when we murder.
We essentially assault the image of God when we
take like. This is the best example i can muster.

stoneytreehugger
I agree with Andy that it has nothing to do with God. It's science, and it is alive. Although I don't believe that abortion should be made illegal. Just because a country prohibits something doesn't mean it won't happen. If abortions were outlawed, it would move to the underground where women would die because they wouldn't be able to go to a hospital and get the abortion. Although I believe morally that abortion is wrong I don't believe the government has the right to legislate a person's morality. That is the beauty of living in a free country.
